21 years later with Tony Richardson…
Many people don’t know this, but our very own Personal Trainer and Group Exercise extraordinaire, Tony Richardson, is one of the original pioneers in the sport of triathlon. In the summer of September 1989, he graced the cover of the now popular Triathlete Magazine. He was one of the top names in the sport at that time, training and racing along side legends like Scott Tinley, and record-breaking six-time Hawaii Iron man world champions Dave Scott and Mark Allen. Tony also trained with a young Triathlete back then by the name of Lance Armstrong, who would later become a 7 time Tour De France champion. Team Move was unable to catch up with Tony for an interview, but we wanted to recognize him this month and for all that he has accomplished in the sport and fitness industry. More than 21 years later since he has graced the cover of Triathlete Magazine, Tony is still active in the sport and continues to place in the top rankings in races that he competes in. We truly believe that the man does not age at all! ![]()
